A Simple And Powerful Stretch
Consider this stretch. Simple and effective. Wish I had thought to do it 20 years ago. Want healthy shoulders? Keeping mobility in the back and chest are a must. You can do this static stretch every time you are in the gym. I’m not a fan of doing static stretching before working heavy back (or any muscle), but post training or anytime in between sets (working something else other than back) are both great options. When doing the stretch, if it’s too easy for you, simply lean forward a bit to feel the stretch and hold for about a minute.
